Bieber has to get used to all the negative publicity
It doesn't come to a surprise that people who tend to dislike teenage pop star, Justin Bieber have done something to make him upset. He's had number one hits such as "Baby", perhaps it's a song about his age! I feel sorry for him, I really do. I mustn't because of his fame and fortune at such a young age and his voice is terrible.
The Canadian had written on his website to his fans wanting their opinions. He wanted to tour in another country and decided to leave it to his faithful supporters to choose for him. The most popular choice - North Korea. It's an internet prank which the anti-Biebers decided that it was funny to do a thing such as this. Second choice after the troubled country was Palestine. Jealousy is one thing, but it didn't go well with Bieber.
Should Coventry be proud of their new "hero"
Papers such as Metro and Daily Mail had put up a huge fuss over some success for England. A twelve year old, Kyle Kane can pick up something twice his weight. I laughed when I saw the article. It's mad to even think that someone would do such a thing like that, let alone a person who hasn't reached his teens yet.
He is now officially the "strongest kid of the world". He's taken the accolade of children who have bodies that adults ever dream of. Personally, it's mean that some of the parents actually allow this cruelty. This is because they are missing out on child life.
I remember a Channel 4 documentary a few years back about Richard Sandrak. He started lifting heavy things at a very, very young age and parents pressuring them. It is mean and I don't want to go through all the "how the parents should raise their children" rule but give them a train to play with instead of weights. Come on!
I refuse to panic over lack of graduate vacancies
Some of my friends will be graduating in the next week or two and it comes to no surprise that there are a lack of jobs for people who get either a 2:2 or a Third. Apparently, according to statistics one in seventy would get a successful application in a job.
It's a pity, looking at some case studies people resort to the army, working in the bar or even as a store assistant in their local Asda. In order to make situations better, the Conservatives want to cut University students and cut the education budget. Of course I'm being sarcastic. In the next five years we could see Uni places drop considerably and new generation of children with less ambition than the current crop of clever kids.
This needs to change. Under a Labour Government, we have more University students and better grades. I fear for the education in Britain and Higher Education will need to be looked at if we want to produce geniuses such as Albert Einstein or even Carol Voderman.
Let's expect nothing of Rooney this season and see how he does
Sir Alex Ferguson and his Manchester United team are one of several teams who have their first training sessions since the season ended in the beginning of May. In a press conference, the Scot said that the tabloids pressured Rooney to perform in the World Cup as we've seen him when he won PFA Player of the Year in the 2009/10 season.
Now let's get this straight - Rooney is a good player but this World Cup, he did not perform. Out of the England team, who did? It's another excuse by Ferguson just to make his best player happy. He could have said "Rooney isn't any good at the World Cup". It's his second one he's been in and not scored.
But with players like him, surely he could take any pressure given to him. He's coped with Man United, so why not with his country? England have superb players but cannot play with each other. They're all spoilt and want to do their own things. Please, would you see Lampard play well with Gerrard? They play for Chelsea and Liverpool for goodness sake. They probably have fought with each other in a pitch fight. That would be in their mind and never thing different.
Back to Rooney, I want to give the newspapers a challenge. Don't expect much of a person who gets £150,000 a week and see how he performs. It won't work as players like him must thrive on pressure.
